We had an absolutely wonderful evening at this restaurant! The view of the sea is simply breathtaking. We made a reservation and were lucky enough to get a table right at the front, which made the experience even more special. The food was a 10/10 - beautifully prepared, refined, and absolutely delicious. But what truly stood out was the service. Every single person was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You really feel that the team genuinely cares about their guests. And considering the quality of the food, the beautiful location, and the outstanding service, the prices are more than fair. Welcome to Everyone who reads this. We would (as a family of four from Poland, who have recently returned from vacation) VERY (! ) praise the Karnagio restaurant. During the week we visited many culinary places: a few in the center by the fortress, a few by the port, etc. , but in our opinion, none of them compares to this particular restaurant. EVERYTHING is at the highest level in this place: EXCELLENT, fresh food full of taste and aroma that makes our mouth water even now, a place with a romantically lit coast, service at the highest level and... especially at the very end we left an absolutely amazing and charismatic figure - the owner Konstantinos - he is a man who deserves all praise. A man is very friendly, cheerful and with a family atmosphere and involved in what he does. We were very happy to personally meet the owner at the table and twice (because we came back to the restaurant on the first free evening date). Thank you, Constantinos and for your crew including Dimitri, which was very friendly and very helpful : Andrew, Asia, Weronika, Anna. If you are looking for the best restaurant in Retymno, then don't hesitate to choose Karnagio! 5.0 out of 5.0! I'm sure you'll want to come back to it like we did. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend Karnagio to anyone visiting Crete — it’s definitely a place you should experience! The restaurant has an incredible view over the sea, the service is five-star, and the food is absolutely delicious. The value for money is also excellent and perfectly matches the quality of the experience. What really stood out to us, though, was how attentive and welcoming the staff were. We were there with our baby daughter, and they went out of their way to find us a table with enough space for all three of us and her stroller, making sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. And, to finish the experience on a perfect note, they kindly offered us a complimentary dessert from the house.
